TRS Ribbons is based in Scotland, UK. TRS is a family business, established over 17 years ago. We manufacture and wholesale a complete range of rosette making components, and printed ribbons.
The owners, Eddie and Ann Prentice and their daughter Elizabeth, have maintained a policy of investing in the best equipment, and sustaining a workforce that really care about the products we produce. Our 8 employees have been with us between 5 and 15 years.
If you want to make rosettes, as a business or as a hobby, we aim to minimise your start up costs and give you all the help you need to get off to a successful start.
When you have an order we can produce all the items that require machines. This includes pleated ribbon, printed centres, rosette tails and all the other components necessary. You then just assemble the parts and make the rosettes. This takes away a lot of time and pressure when you are starting up, and allows you to make quality rosettes from the outset.
As your business succeeds, you can gradually buy the equipment to do most of the work yourself, knowing that if you have an especially large order or you are unwell, you can turn to us for help.
We produce an ‘Apprenticeship starter pack’ which will take you through the process of making rosettes and will give you confidence that you can make a quality product you can be proud of. You will also have samples, which you can show to prospective customers or photograph for your price list.
Help and support is available for every stage of your rosette making. We are a family business, you can speak with the owners, or you are welcome to visit us and see first hand how we work.
